Word tester
We are looking for thirty people to try products before the shop opens and write honestly about them. Including when they do not work.
What you get
- A three-step routine chosen for your skin, free, posted to you.
- No obligation to say anything nice.
- Your name on the review as a verified tester, or anonymous if you prefer.
What we ask
- Use the routine for at least four weeks. Two weeks tells us nothing about skincare.
- Write a few honest sentences per product. What it felt like, whether you would buy it, what annoyed you.
- Tell us if it did nothing. That is genuinely more useful to us than praise.
What we will not do
We will not edit your review, ask you to change it, or quietly drop it because it is unflattering. If a product gets consistently poor reviews from testers, we remove the product — not the reviews.
Every tester review is clearly marked as a gifted product. That is a legal requirement in the EU and it is also the only way the review means anything. A review you cannot trust is worth less than no review.
Why we are doing it this way
A new shop has no reviews. The usual solutions are to buy them, to write them, or to quietly seed them without disclosure. All three are illegal in the EU and all three would make everything else we say worthless.
So: thirty people, real products, four weeks, honest words, clearly labelled. It is slower. It is the only version that is worth anything.

Applications close when we have thirty people, and we will say so here when they do.
