Niacinamide is fifth on the list and is the only calming ingredient present in any quantity; centella and madecassoside sit near the bottom. The light feel comes from isoparaffins and silicones, which is why it suits oily skin and why a few people find it never quite sinks in. At 43 cents a millilitre it is the priciest cream here. It does not treat spots, whatever the name suggests.
