Collection: Exfoliators

Exfoliation helps clear away dead surface cells, so skin feels smoother and pores look less congested. More is not better: once or twice a week, and never on skin that is reacting. Skip it on days you use a retinoid or another acid, including exfoliating toner pads.

  • Dr.G Brightening Peeling Gel: a cellulose gel you massage over damp skin and rinse off. For rough texture and dull-looking skin.
  • MEDICUBE Red Acne Succinic Acid Peel Serum: a wash-off serum with lactic, succinic, salicylic and glycolic acid. Two drops, one minute, then rinse. For blemish-prone skin and visible pores. It contains fragrance, and a patch test first is wise if acids tend to sting you.

In weeks you exfoliate, daily sunscreen matters even more. See sunscreens.
